Creations’ Candy Apple

We have had multiple requests for the recipe of the Candy Apple Martini that we served as a welcome drink at our recent Open House.  So by popular demand, here it is.

Funny, martini’s have been putting us in the limelight recently!  At the end of last year, we were on the cover of Catersource Magazine with our Lychee Lemon Grass Martini.  Hmm….. with all the attention our martini’s have been getting, you would think that we would have them on our cocktail drink list!  Once again, our guests and clients are helping us to evolve and moving us progressively forward! 2010 Open House

On Wednesday, July 21st many of our past and current clients, as well prospective clients, vendors, and friends helped us to celebrate our 25th Anniversary with a ‘wide open’ open house!  We had custom live-action stations serving food from each of the divisions of our company:  Picnics in Paradise, The Dole Ballrooms, Creations Express, and of course, Creations in Catering.  We had Grilled Foie Gras w. Figs and Lemon Mustard Sauce, Pate Masson Open Sandwich w. Honey Bread, Spicy Roasted Beet Pickles & Horseradish Aioli Sauce, and Beef Short Rib Slider w. Gorgonzola on a Taro Buns w. Thin Sliced Pickles & Cocktail-Tomatoes – just to name a few!  And of course, our famous Apple Banana Flambe with homemade lemon bars and vanilla bean ice cream.  Couple this with our “Christmas in July” theme, specialty ‘Candy Apple’ Martinis, champagne, wine, floor to ceiling video presentations and LED lighting and we had one heck of a celebration!
